The award was presented by Osaze Isesele, Director of Events & Policy Coordination to Mrs. Olajumoke Ajayi, President of NAPE on the sidelines of the Association’s February Monthly Technical Meeting during the week.
Isesele in his comment stated that the award presented ahead of the 4th edition of Forum honoured NAPE for its strategic partnership with the Gas Investment Forum particularly in shaping and advancing the Upstream Gas & Exploration Hotspot at previous editions of the Forum.
He said, “As Nigeria’s leading professional body for geoscientists and exploration professionals, NAPE continues to play a pivotal role in driving technical discourse, data-driven insights, and capacity development across the upstream sector.
“Through its technical sessions, knowledge-sharing platforms, and industry collaborations, the Association has consistently contributed to improving exploration outcomes, strengthening reserves growth, and supporting a more competitive upstream ecosystem,” he said.
The Director of Events & Policy Coordination further explained that Gas Investment Forum, will continue to elevate upstream dialogue and collaboration as a critical enabler of Nigeria’s gas supply ambitions.
According to him, “in line with the Presidential mandate to grow daily gas production and the nation’s broader vision of becoming a gas-powered economy, the Forum remains committed to convening operators, regulators, investors, and technical leaders to accelerate deepwater gas development, unlock frontier basins, and convert reserves into reliable, bankable supply for domestic and export markets.”
