MOJEC International Limited, through its subsidiary; MOJEC Meter Asset Management Company (M3AC), with an annual installed capacity of up to 5 million meters, 300,000 deployed and installed over 240,000 meters across the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI) within 2024.
Chantelle Abdul, Group Managing Director, and Engr. Monday Ubogu, MOJEC’s Head of Installation; confirmed this in a statement obtained by Advisors Reports on Wednesday.
Engr. Ubogu explained that the company, completed up to 150,000 installations within the first three quarters of 2024, representing an impressive 40% of all installations carried out across Distribution Companies (DisCos) nationwide.
According to him, the milestone was further amplified in the fourth quarter with the deployment of an additional 95,000 meters, bringing its annual total to over 240,000 installations.
He explained that, of the 300,000 meters deployed nationwide during the period, the company installed over 240,000 within the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI), reinforcing its role as a key partner in Nigeria’s sustainable energy transition.
MOJEC’s Head of Installation also noted, “The record-breaking meter installations underscores MOJEC’s unparalleled capacity to drive metering initiatives such as CAPMI, MAF, Vendor Financing, MAP Phases I & II, and NMMP 0, having deployed nearly 4M meters since the privatization of the NESI.
Chantelle Abdul, Group Managing Director, in her comment, attributed the success to MOJEC’s state of the art metering facilities.
