President Bola Tinubu has initiated the restructuring of key members to the management team of the FGN Power Company Limited, with the reinstatement of Kenny Osebi Anuwe as the Chief Executive Officer and Prof Mamman Lawal as the Company Secretary/Legal Advisor, alongside the addition of three new members to the team.

Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, conveyed this information in a statement released and acquired by Advisors Reports on Friday.

The newly appointed members include Ebenezer  Fapohunda as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), Babatunde Oniru as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and Julius Olabiyi as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

According to him, the appointment was in recognition of the critical role of power supply in driving enterprise and industrial development, and as a part of comprehensive efforts to reform the power sector and ensure energy security for all Nigerians,

Ajuri emphasized President Tinubu’s expectation that with a fully constituted management team, the FGN Power Company Limited will diligently pursue the core objectives of the Presidential Power Initiative (PPI).

Ajuri therefore noted that President Tinubu anticipates that with the full constitution of the management team, the FGN Power Company Limited will work assiduously to realize the core objectives of the Presidential Power Initiative (PPI) in close collaboration with Siemens Energy through a holistic overhaul, modernization, and expansion of the national grid and other critical measures to ensure the growth of the Nigeria Electricity Supply Industry (NESI).
