Babatunde Lasaki, EKEDC General Manager of Corporate Communications shared this statement with Advisors Reports, upon receiving the award on behalf of the company at the inaugural Energy Times Awards hosted by Energy Times in Lagos on Friday, April 19, 2024.

According to him, the recognition is a testament to Eko Disco’s unwavering commitment and dedication to providing a safe, reliable, and constant electricity supply to its customers within its franchise area.

He added that EKEDC has been a consistent top-performing distribution company coming out top in most of the performance indicators set by the sector’s regulator, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).

The GM, Corporate Communications of EKEDC, Babatunde Lasaki, dedicated the award to EKEDC customers saying that the Company’s desire to serve the customers better is the bedrock of its performance and pledged the company’s desire for a continuous excellent customer service delivery.

“2023 being the 10th year of our operations, was a remarkable year for us in terms of performance. We went on to break new boundaries and shattered almost all our records, especially with the attainment of a single digit ATC&C and continue to drive on with the setting of an audacious medium to long-term goals to improve our services to our esteemed customers, ” he said.

He noted that “EKEDC has consistently demonstrated a commitment to implementing innovative technologies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
