“Nuclear sites were evacuated before U.S. strikes, no radiation risk”-  IRIB

Oredola Adeola

The United States has formally joined the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran by launching a coordinated strike on Iran’s strategic nuclear facilities, deploying six B-2 stealth bombers and firing approximately 30 tonnes of missiles, on Fordow alone, from American submarines.

President Donald Trump confirmed the U.S. airstrike in a statement released via his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

According to the statement, the U.S. military successfully conducted coordinated strikes on three major Iranian nuclear sites — Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.

“All planes are now outside of Iran’s airspace,” Trump said, highlighting the success and safety of the operation.

“A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors.”

President Trump further praised the capabilities of the U.S. Armed Forces, declaring, “There is not another military in the world that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

The Iranian state broadcaster, IRIB reported that the three nuclear sites had been evacuated prior to the attack, stating that no enriched uranium was present at the time of the bombing.

It stated, “Three nuclear sites, including Fordow, had been evacuated some time ago and our enriched uranium stockpile was moved away from these locations. There is no risk of radiation leakage.”

This was earlier affirmed by Mohsen Rezaei a former IRGC commander and a senior member of the Expediency Council.

According to him, Israel hit Natanz, Isfahan’s nuclear facility, Khondab, and Arak, but those sites were already evacuated.

He said, “All the materials they were looking to destroy have been moved to a safe place.”

Commentators have hinted that the strike marks a significant escalation in an already tense regional conflict, potentially altering the trajectory of hostilities between Iran and its adversaries.

Advisors Reports gathered that diplomatic fallout and further military responses remain likely in the coming days.
