The Sustainable Energy for All, (SEforALL), an international organization  which is a major driving force behind United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7), is on the lookout for a  Energy Analyst to join its Executive Office in Vienna, Austria.

 

Advisors Reports gathered that this one-year position, with the potential for extension, offers a minimum yearly salary of EUR 42,080.

 

According to SEforALL, the Executive Office plays a crucial role in supporting high-level engagements and ensuring operational efficiency.

 

The selected candidate will provide analytical support to the CEO on climate, energy, and development topics, design and implement early-stage projects, and develop knowledge briefs for international advocacy efforts.

 

Applicants are expected to hold a Master’s degree and have 4-5 years of relevant work experience in analytics and research within the energy or development sectors.

 

Key competencies for the job offer according to SEforAll, include strong analytical skills, project management proficiency, and a collaborative mindset.

 

SEforALL emphasized its commitment to diversity and has therefore encouraged other qualified female candidates to apply.

 

Interested individuals are urged to submit their applications before the closing date on June 14, 2024.

 

 

The SEforAll’s Energy Analyst role, as outlined by the organization, focuses on providing analytical support to the CEO on matters intersecting climate, energy, and development.

 

The independent organization, ehich maintains close links with the United Nation on the implementation of SDG7 said, “The responsibilities of the Energy Analyst will also include driving early-stage projects, crafting knowledge briefs for CEO advocacy efforts in global forums, and collaborating with teams to analyze complex data for decision-making processes.

 

“Additionally, the role entails leading projects, facilitating knowledge sharing, and assisting in capturing data-driven insights on critical topics such as carbon markets and energy crisis impacts,” it said.

 

Sustainable Energy for All is funded by a consortium of partners including the Austrian Development Agency, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Google, and UK Aid, among others.

 

Advisors Reports’ further check showed that the SEforALL provides competitive compensation packages at its locations in Vienna, Washington DC, New York City, and Abuja, and flexibility and result orientated modern workplace arrangements.
