… streamlines processes to deliver 100% of LPG supply to local market

Oredola Adeola

The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) has committed to enhancing operational efficiency in domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (DLPG) supply through digitalisation, including a new platform designed to streamline regulatory processes, optimise risk management, and improve the buyer experience.

Sophia Horsfall, General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development at NLNG, disclosed this in a statement obtained by Advisors Reports on Sunday.

The announcement follows a recent engagement session with stakeholders in Lagos, where NLNG reiterated its commitment to enhancing operational efficiency in domestic LPG supply.

As part of this initiative, NLNG revealed plans to introduce a digital platform featuring IT-supported relationship management, automated issue resolution, centralised real-time payments, and improved case management systems.

That enhancement, according to the company, aims to streamline supply processes, ensuring seamless operations despite market shifts and external pressures.

Tolulope Longe, Manager, Commercial Contract Management, in her comment at the session, emphasised that these improvements will reinforce NLNG’s commitment to delivering 100% of its LPG supply to the Nigerian market.

She noted that a strategic roadmap is in place to achieve the company’s long-term goal of ensuring LPG accessibility and availability, in line with its vision of being a globally competitive energy company that enhances lives sustainably.

Longe also highlighted the significance of these initiatives in promoting LPG as a cleaner energy alternative to kerosene and other fossil fuels.

She reaffirmed NLNG’s dedication to market growth and sustainability by continuously improving supply processes in collaboration with off-takers.

While acknowledging industry concerns, she stressed the importance of operational efficiency in meeting market demand and maintaining pricing stability.

NLNG in its statement therefore assured that it remains committed to strengthening stakeholder engagement, improving market efficiency, and prioritising customers with demonstrable capacity.

NLNG reassured its commitment to driving sustainability and delivering long-term value to Nigerians, by minimising schedule disruptions, ensuring timely confirmations and deliveries, and adapting to evolving market realities.
