Kaduna Electric has promised to provide uninterrupted power supply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to its Maximum Demand customers and other segments, dedicated to elevating their operational efficiency, drive productivity, and ultimately lower expenses for businesses in the region.

Dr. Umar Hashidu, Managing Director /Chief Executive Office of Kaduna Electric, made this known when he led his management team on a visit to WACOTT Rice Mill in Argungu, Kebbi State to explore opportunities for partnerships between the two organisations.

According to him, we assure all categories of customers especially Maximum Demand customers of the company’s resolve to invest in meeting their energy demands, by ensuring voltage stability to avoid damage to equipment and help them reduce overall costs of production.

He emphasised that big corporates such as Olam Feeds, Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemical Company among others are presently enjoying adequate power supply as a result of the partnerships they have entered with Kaduna Electric.

He further stated that a dedicated feeder was constructed to serve their needs.

Dr. Umar also noted that Kaduna Electric recognises the importance of big energy offtakers in its franchise and therefore will do its utmost to satisfy their needs.

He further said doing so will boost socio-economic activities that will bolster the nation’s economy.

The Kaduna DisCo’s MD told the WACOTT team that one of the key advantages of a mutually beneficial partnership is that his offers significantly lower costs for power compared to other sources for the mill’s large-scale production.

He further informed the team led by Prakesh Pandy, General Manager, Engineering, that Kaduna Electric is ready at the moment to provide stable power supply to the plant’s premises and staff residential quarters and is ready to make necessary arrangements to scale up to meet its demand for uninterrupted supply to meet its production needs in due course.
