At the commencement of the 2024 CERAWeek Conference in Houston, United States, Mr. Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. and other members of the Nigerian delegation engaged in strategic discussions with business partners and prominent figures in the energy industry.

 

Advisors Reports gathered that the 2024 edition of the conference is centered around the theme of “Multidimensional Energy Transition: Markets, Climate, Technology, and Geopolitics.”

 

Olufemi Soneye, NNPC’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, in a statement obtained by Advisors Reports revealed that during the Plenary Session titled “Leadership Dialogue,” Kyari actively participated. Additionally, Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, NNPC Ltd’s Executive Vice President, Upstream, led a Plenary Session titled “What are the Choices for Upstream Strategies.”

 

Soneye also mentioned that on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, Mr. Olalekan Ogunleye, Executive Vice President of Gas, Power & New Energy at NNPC, will serve as a Panelist in a Strategic Dialogue Session themed “Africa’s Energy Future: Access, Investment & Sustainability.”

 

The CERAWeek Conference in Houston is renowned as a premier global energy gathering that convenes experts, government officials, policymakers, and leaders from diverse sectors to deliberate on strategies for a multifaceted energy transition.

 

Focusing on critical aspects of this transformative period such as markets, geopolitics, investment, technology, and competitive strategies, CERAWeek 2024 provides a platform for global energy leaders to tackle challenges and opportunities in shaping the future of energy.
